The Taupō Trail Festival is scheduled for 14 to 16 March 2025, taking place in Taupō, known for its scenic landscapes and diverse terrain. The event features a variety of running and mountain biking activities, catering to participants of all ages and skill levels.
On Friday, the festival kicks off with a Trail Colour Run, offering a vibrant atmosphere on a 2.5km or 5km course, followed by a Multi-Lap Night Run on single trail loops, providing an engaging experience under the stars.
Saturday highlights include the Craters Trail Run/Walk, which is notable for its picturesque views and challenging routes, with options for children and longer distances.
Additionally, the event includes a Rogaine on Sunday, where participants navigate with a map to locate various markers within a designated time frame, either solo or in teams. The festival showcases the natural beauty of Taupō and encourages community involvement through its diverse range of activities. Post-race amenities and activities will be available to enhance the participant experience.
