The Merrell Race Tekapo is scheduled for 13 September 2025, taking place at Lake Tekapo/Takapō. This event features multiple courses, catering to a range of participants.
The highlight is the 50km course, which follows a figure-of-eight route that starts and finishes at the lake’s edge, providing supporters with multiple viewing opportunities. The 32km course offers a scenic experience incorporating Mt John and the Regional Park, including a section along the Lagoon Loop, characterized by a mix of flat trails and hilly terrain with stunning vistas. The 21km option mirrors the 32km route, minus the Lagoon Loop. For those seeking a faster experience, the 16km course is predominantly flat, while the 10km course ascends Mt John before looping around the lake. The 5km course also features a loop around the lake, integrating the beautiful surroundings of the Regional Park.
