The Hanmer Four Square Half Marathon event is set to occur on the 3rd of May, 2025. This event takes place annually in the scenic village of Hanmer Springs, located 130km NW of Christchurch.
The race commences at Hanmer Domain, with the half marathon participants embarking on a 2km incline, following forest roads. The course diverges at Jollies Pass Road, leading runners through the beautiful Hanmer Forest before converging with the other routes. The final stretch of the race is a sprint to the finish line at Hanmer School. The other courses follow Jollies Pass Road for an initial 2km before joining the longer routes to the finish line.
