The Bridge to Bridge Ultra Marathon is scheduled for 14 June 2025, taking place in the scenic Waimakariri Gorge region. The event begins at the Waimakariri Golf Course and follows a route similar to the subsequent Bridge to Bridge Mountain Bike Race, concluding at Raven Quay in Kaiapoi.
The course features a mix of terrain, providing participants with a diverse running experience amid natural landscapes. The ultra marathon is complemented by shorter events, allowing for a variety of running experiences within the same scenic setting, all culminating in Kaiapoi.
This marathon is notable for its scenic views of the Waimakariri Gorge and the opportunity for runners to engage with the local community. Post-race activities and amenities will be available, offering participants a chance to relax and celebrate their achievements in a communal atmosphere. The event is organized by CJM’S Events, known for hosting various running competitions in the area.
