The Tarawera Ultra-Trail by UTMB is scheduled for 15 to 16 February 2025, taking place in the Rotorua region of New Zealand. This event is recognized as the country’s largest trail running competition and holds a prestigious status within the ultramarathon community.
The courses traverse diverse terrains, showcasing the region’s natural beauty, including eight lakes, numerous waterfalls, and dense native forests. Participants have the opportunity to engage in multiple race categories, which are significant for both seasoned runners and those seeking a personal challenge.
