The Rotorua Walking Festival will take place from 15 to 16 March 2025, set against the scenic backdrop of Rotorua’s diverse landscape. This year marks the 32nd edition of the festival, which features a variety of walking routes suitable for participants of all abilities.
On Saturday, participants can explore the Whakarewarewa Forest, known for its rich native bush and geothermal features. The courses wind through this unique environment, providing an immersive experience in nature. On Sunday, the focus shifts to the urban area, with routes that traverse the picturesque lakefront and the historic Government Gardens, showcasing the region’s cultural heritage.
