Crush the Cargill is set to take place in Dunedin from 13 to 15 December 2024. This unique running event features a 24-hour mountain race commencing on Saturday morning, alongside a 100-mile event that begins on Friday night. This event operates as an “unorganised” race, which means there are no formal entry fees or support provided; however, participants are encouraged to contribute a koha, with all donations directed towards the Valley Project. The natural beauty of the Dunedin landscape serves as a backdrop to the race, offering participants a chance to experience the region’s mountainous scenery while testing their endurance.
