The Auckland Waterfront Half Marathon, which is scheduled for 6 April 2025, serves as the concluding event of the 24/25 Auckland Half Marathon Series. The base for the event is located at Selwyn Domain, situated in the core of Mission Bay. Participants will start their run on Tamaki Drive, initially heading towards Mechanics Bay with the city skyline as a backdrop, before returning along the beautiful waterfront towards St Heliers.
In addition to the half marathon, the event also includes other running categories suitable for different fitness levels. All participants will receive a medal upon completion of their respective races, and the roads will be fully closed for the safety of the runners.
The event is managed by Running Events, and is part of the Auckland Half Marathon Series. The prior event in this series was the Maraetai Half Marathon, held on 9 March 2025.
The event includes various running categories, which are appropriate for varying skill and fitness levels.
