The 27th Sri Chinmoy Marathon 6-12-24 Hour Track Race & 24-Hour Teams Relay will take place at AUT Millennium Stadium in Auckland on 10 May 2025. This event challenges participants to cover as much distance as possible within a specified timeframe, with no predetermined distances.
The race is held on an IAAF certified, floodlit, synthetic 400-metre athletics track, providing a consistent running surface. Lap counters are provided to track participants’ progress, and a scoreboard displays real-time distance updates for each runner.
Athletes affiliated with a registered athletic club have the opportunity to compete for Athletics New Zealand 24-Hour National Championship titles. This aspect adds a layer of competitive significance to the event.
