The Murihiku Women’s Duathlon is set to take place on 6 April 2025 in Invercargill. The race begins and ends at the Cabbage Tree, with participants traversing through the scenic Sandy Point. This event is exclusively for women and caters to beginners. Participants can choose to compete individually or in teams of two. It’s worth noting that the course is more suited for mountain biking than road cycling. Women aged 10 years and older are welcome to participate.
The Karawhiua Run/Walk comprises two courses. The shorter course is a quick route, while the longer path offers a more extensive exploration of the area.
The event is organized by the Southland Triathlon and Multisport Club. The duathlon consists of running and mountain biking stages, available in both shorter and longer distances. The race can be completed solo or as a relay.
